Solution: This is a known problem with Windows and it has to do with DPI settings. To correct this problem, enter into the Windows Control Panel and select Display. Select the
Settings Tab and click on the advanced button on the form. If your DPI settings are set to a value other than 96, change them to 96 DPI. This should solve the problem
Solution: This problem can be overcome by downloading an updated file required by the searching system. The following instructions should be used to update the system:
- Download the updated file. Cities03.bin (5 MB)
- When prompted to save the file, save it in the Data3 directory where the application is installed. On most systems, that would be saved in the "C:\Program Files\TLCN2005\Data3\" directory. Be sure to overwrite the old file when it prompts you to, otherwise the new file will not take effect.
Solution: If you are attempting to use the software with a USB GPS receiver, you will need to get a USB to COM Port software driver from the GPS manufacturer. This driver will divert the information coming in to the USB port and divert it to a COM port. Most manufacturers have them available for download.
Solution: This problem can be overcome by downloading two updated files required by the routing system. The following instructions should be used to update the system:- Download the updated file. MRTE03.ZPX (8.6 MB)
- When prompted to save the file, save it in the Data1 directory where the application is installed. On most systems, that would be saved in the "C:\Program Files\TLCN2005\Data1\" directory. Be sure to overwrite the old file when it prompts you to, otherwise the new file will not take effect.
